Batch 7: Approved Grants

8.30.22

The OGP has approved Batch 7 of grants today! This batch includes a total of four grants, which amount to $265,000 in funding. As always, we share more info on each grant below, including project descriptions and payment structures.

It's hard to believe that the OGP has been live for over four months… time flies! You can learn more about our accomplishments to date in our Q1 Retroactive Report. We encourage all prospective applicants to go through the Call for Applicants section of the report for inspiration before applying, as we highlight some of the categories and RFPs we'd love to fund over the next few months.

Now that we've completed another stablecoin diversification round, existing grantees should expect to receive their outstanding payments soon. We appreciate the community's patience on this front while we've worked through this process.

The toolkit will monitor a stream of security-focused Osmosis events in real-time and allow users to set custom smart contract alerts, that trigger when specific conditions are met. Milestone 1 will include Osmosis + CW support and the implementation of custom alerts; milestone 2 will involve the implementation of the stream of events feature.

Access to real-time monitoring tools that can trigger custom events, fire alerts when an exploit is happening, or detect bugs after deployment will increase the overall security of the Osmosis chain and other apps built on top of it.

Zodiac will bring a new DeFi primitive to Osmosis, which will provide liquidity providers with different risk-return profiles via liquidation-free leverage from principal tokens, trading-volume-linked cash flow from yield tokens, and new potential use-cases such as collateral for borrow/lend protocols like Mars.
