Sungsang is a long-time Osmosis community contributor in the Osmosis Korea community. He has curated and provided support in the official Osmosis Korean community channels for the last two years, and also runs a Korean Osmosis news update channel in which he translates Osmosis news, tweets, and announcements into Korean. This grant funds the continuation of this work, as well as an expansion of these services into new dedicated channels for the Osmosis Korea community. The scope of work is as follows: Ongoing maintenance and support of the Osmosis Korea telegram channel (min. 20 hrs per week): https://t.me/osmosiskorea / News updates and translations for all major Osmosis announcements in a dedicated Osmosis Korean News channel: https://t.me/osmohappynews / Management of a dedicated Osmosis group channel on Kakao (Korea's most popular messaging service)
The Korean market is one of the largest in the DeFi space, and a key target market for any trading venue. It is also Osmosis’s largest and most active international community. This initiative represents a first step toward taking a more active role in engaging and growing the Korean community for Osmosis while rewarding a long-term active contributor. Osmosis plans to take additional steps to activate the Korean market in 2025, and having robust community support in this market is essential for user onboarding and retention.

Bitcoin Renaissance is an annual event hosted by Babylon Labs. The event aims to bring together the brightest minds in Bitcoin to explore the evolution of Bitcoin’s ecosystem and the synergies between Bitcoin and PoS chains. The event will occur at Summit Denver on Feb 27-28, as a side event to ETH Denver. Over 1000 attendees from all corners of the Bitcoin ecosystem are expected at the event. This grant covers the cost of a sponsorship package for the event which includes: A speaker slot at one of the event panels, Branding representation at the event and on the event page / social media, Tickets to the VIP Speaker Soiree and networking event.
Ensuring Osmosis’s representation at key Bitcoin conferences and events remains essential to Osmosis’s push to capture Bitcoin trading volume market share.
